Hydro intends to submit a new merger control notification once it has provided the additional information. The subscription period has therefore been extended to October 10, 2022. The original subscription period was set to expire July 12, 2022.
Hydro announced a tender offer for 100 percent of the shares of the Polish recycler Alumetal S.A. on April 29, 2022. With the transaction, Hydro aims to strengthen its recycling position in Europe and widen its product offering in the low-carbon and scrap-based foundry alloy market.
