Albi highlights
The Albi plant owns two presses of 7" and 10" - total capacity of 26 000 t/year.
287 persons are employed in the South-West of France.
Besides the extrusion, the plant is equipped with a powder coating workshop, a thermal break workshop with two assembly lines for thermally broken profiles that can be marked QB49, a welding workshop and a large machining workshop, specialized in long lengths. Lots of additional services are available such as storage, logistics solutions and jobbing.
Our workshop
Our plant expertise relies on the machining workshop and its development since its creation in 2016. It currently has 2 4-axis CNC centres and 4 5-axis CNC centres, specifically used on long-length profiles as mentionned. In order to meet our customers' needs in terms of welding, we have a workshop with a capacity of 1,700 m² (TIG/MIG) with a robotic cell. The site has thus specialized in the fabrication of high added value solutions.
The flexibility of our workshops allows a strong reactivity from our employees, resources and production capacity of workshops such as machining, which is thus able to respond effectively to customer requirements.
In addition to our production capacities, Hydro Extrusion has a dedicated service to assisting customers on technical projects: the Technical Office France. From the conception to your product prototype, our experts are there to support you.
